Summer school
Could your child use an extra boost during the summer months, want to avoid a dip in development or are you returning after emigrating? Use the summer to address gaps in language and numeracy skills! With Edufax’s Summer School, you will work on key aspects of the Dutch language and/or Dutch arithmetic curriculum.
Into the new school year without falling behind
The Summer School is suitable for pupils from grade 3. Dutch language lessons are taught up to the third grade of secondary school. Under the guidance of an experienced teacher, pupils work on reading and writing skills, vocabulary, spelling and grammar. The Arithmetic School is there for pupils up to the end of grade 8. Special attention is then paid to subject language and components that receive a lot of attention in the Dutch curriculum compared to foreign curricula.
The Summer School: three months of online education
There are as many as 15 hours of exercises and explanations waiting for students! They can work on the material at their own pace between June 1 and September 1. This also leaves plenty of time for holiday plans!
Our teachers provide students with feedback during the Summer School via the online learning programme. In addition, they provide explanations and tips via the 1-on-1 lessons. During the Language Summer School, there are three individual 30-minute online lessons in which your child can ask all their questions. The Summer School Mathematics consists of five individual online lessons of 30 minutes in which there is room for questions, extra instruction and possible in-depth discussions. In this way, we tailor the Summer School entirely to the child.

Returning to the Netherlands without arrears

In the months of June, July and August, it is possible to take Summer School with us. Ideal if you want extra practice with the most important parts of the past year or if you return to the Netherlands after the summer.
